Minimum requirements for Sibelius 7 software only
Windows: Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista SP2 with the Platform Update Pack or later, Windows 7 SP1 or later, 1 GB+ RAM, 750 MB hard disk space, DVD-ROM drive.
I have a Windows XP version 3 and Sibelius 6. I bought and downloaded the Sibelius 7 upgrade. I saw only one choice for Windows. When I tried to install it, it said:
'This programme requires windows NT version 6.0 service pack or later.'
Do you have differents downloads for each Windows?

Is it the right version you are talking about?
If not, where I can find the 7.1.2?

System requirements
Before you install, check that your computer meets the system requirements:
Windows: Windows Vista SP2 with the Platform Update Pack or later, Windows 7 SP1
32-bit or 64-bit or later; Intel Core 2 Duo (or equivalent) or faster; 1GB RAM (4GB+
recommended); 750MB hard disk space for Sibelius alone (40GB for Sibelius plus
Sibelius 7 Sounds), fast hard disk recommended; DVD-ROM drive; ASIO-compatible
sound card recommended; printer, scanner, microphone, MIDI keyboard required for
some features.
But like you said, maybe newer version have address this issue. I change the title of my thread.

36: Multirests at the beginning of parts
Many users have asked how to stop Sibelius from displaying, for example, an eight-bar multirest at the beginning of an extracted part as a one bar rest followed by a seven-bar multirest. Sibelius behaves in this way because objects like the title etc. are attached to the first bar of the score, but if you inserted an extra bar at the start they end up being attached to bar 2. Attached objects always break multirests.

Find Windows System Id
To solve this problem, make sure View >Attachment Lines is switched on. When you select e.g. the Title text object, you should see a dotted gray line extending from the text to the top staff. You can click and drag these system text objects - even though they will not move, the gray attachment line does move. When the attachment lines for all the system text objects are attached to bar 1, multirests will not be broken by them.
If the above procedure doesn't help, try this:
- Switch off Use Multirests in the Layout >Auto Layout menu (in Sibelius 2 and 3 this is the House Style menu, in Sibelius 1.4 this is Layout >Show Multirests).
- Cut (or copy) time signature and paste into bar 2
- Cut (or copy) tempo marking and paste into bar 2
- Insert an extra bar somewhere between bars 2 and 8.
- Delete bar 1
- Switch on Use Multirests from the appropriate menu.

You will now have the part beginning with an eight-bar multirest.
