This page covers how to move the files to the proper locations on Windows 10 and macOS X. Java Edition can read .zip files and folders.
If you've followed the instructions and the pack still is not working, check to make sure that there is not a folder nested inside the Faithful folder. This may sometimes occur with how the download is set up. If there is, move it to the main resourcepacks folder.
To uninstall Minecraft from your Xbox Series X: Press the Xbox button to open the menu. Select “My Games & Apps”. Select “See All”, then “Games”. Select “Minecraft” with the cursor. Click the right-hand button just under the Xbox button to bring up the game menu. Select “Uninstall”, then “Uninstall All”. 2012 MacBook Pro Retina Version 10.10.1 Yosemite 8GB Memory 2.5 GHz Intel i5 Processor.

If you want just the pathnames directly to the resource pack folders, they are:
Windows 10: Press ⊞+R (windows+r) and paste %appdata%.minecraftresourcepacks
macOS: open Finder and press ⌘+⇧+G (command+shift+g) and paste ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/resourcepacks
Here are the steps for each OS:
Windows 10:
Library/application Support/minecraft
- First, download the pack from the addon page. Make sure Minecraft is not open when you do this.
- Next press ⊞+R (windows+r)
- Enter
%appdata%.minecraftresourcepacks
- Drag or paste the .zip file into the resourcepacks folder.
- Some resource packs will not need this, but for the official Faithful download at least, unzip it and go into the folder
- Delete .gitignore and .DS_Store if either of them are inside of it
- Open minecraft and navigate to the Resource pack settings
- Apply the resource packs. Faithful should be at the bottom and any addon resource packs should be above it.
- Click 'Done' and you should be able to play
